It’s rare to have a very “normal” day but I had it today.

I got up early, got ready and went on to do my errands around town, settling passport and work related stuff. I received such a wonderful and positive energy filled text from fellow cusper J that she isn’t free for dinner in the evening. But that was cute in itself because both Eleanor and I were going to spend time with our moms too. I took few trains and after an hour reached Eleanor’s place. She was already cooking brunch for us — soup, pumpkin bread and vinegar and olive oil ‘sauce’.

I had two portions, of course. After that it was few minutes of sending emails to neccesary work places  and then it was sleep for blissful 2 hours and whatever it brought after that. :)

We were hungry again and lovely noodles was cooked by her — they were really good even though they were instant noodles, they were just the way I have always liked it and we have always done it. And then we Photobooth-ed and laughed as hell looking at the pictures and the handshake that we did which made me realise how sometimes only bestfriends really know each other and may even seem super strange to others.

I left(always hard to leave her) to go meet my family(yes just mum became +++) for dinner.

We ate at a very nice peranakan place(unfortunately, I was already too full of yummy noodles) and proceeded on to desserts at Billy Bombers — lovely warm and very satisfying brownies. It’s very rare for me to enjoy such rich chocolate but it was so easy because of how “molten” the brownie was. I also met one of my friends from secondary school with her boyfriend while about to eat dinner. They were passing by and we stood to talk for a bit; doing a little catching up. Of course there was a photo taking session before that at the loo as well. Yes, right.

Such a normal but beautiful day and by normal I mean such extravagance and gratitude for the most simplest day — a rare, very rare moment(day) in my life — with all the people that I love. I don’t need anymore or any less. I’m so glad to have just spent this day with the people I love, nothing less.

ps. I also realise I haven’t done an entry like this in a long time. It’s nice for a change. :)
